Shania Twain and Her Strange Love-Story: She's Finally Found the Love of Her Life and is Engaged!

Life has been real bizarre for the country singer, especially her love life!

After 14 years of marriage, Twain's hubby, Robert Lange, suddenly left her for her best friend Marie Anne Thiebaud in 2008. Both Lange and Marie-Anne vehemently denied an affair.

The heart broken 45 year old star found solace in her ex-best friend's hubby, Frederic Thiebaud, a 40 year old Swiss-born Nestle Executive. Soon after they were inseparable and the singer confirmed her relationship to the tabloids after Frederic popped the question 2 months ago in Switzerland.

 Mentioning Frederic, the singer wrote on her official website:

"[he's] a dear friend and true gentleman...We leaned on one another through the ups and downs, taking turns holding each other up. We've become stronger and closer through it all."
