Usually it is a castle, a building or a monument that is listed as a heritage site but the famous Beatles' Abbey Road Zebra Crossing is far from usual! Fans from all over the world visit the famous crossing which, to this day, is deemed 'a mecca' for all the Beatles' fans world wide!

The crossing made famous by a 10 minute photo shoot by the English Band back in August 1969 has been given a Grade II listing due to its "cultural and historical importance by the Authorities.

So a great news for all the Beatles' fans out there and now you can rest assured that it will be preserved for time immemorial!
