So the story is that Oprah is recording a TV chat show in Australia which was encouraged by the Aussie tourism industry in an effort to boost tourism. The Chat Queen flew over to the Aussie land with a few hundred American guest in tow.
Hugh Jackman, along with other Australian celebrities such as Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban and Russell Crowe are all taking part in the chat show, recording their own videos of exploration and adventure around the Aussie famous attractions (the show is to boost tourism, remember)
So in one of the stunts, Jackman was chained to a cable on the Sydney Opera House towards the stage to meet Oprah presumably but in the heat (and probably the fear) of the moment, the Wolverine actor forgot to press the brakes on time and went face first into the stage wall! Though the star only got a slight black eye, he managed to joke about the incident.
The X-men star also managed to introduce Vegemite (Australian spread) to Oprah and she did take a profound liking to the salty tarry food specialty. Let's hope the show manages to wow the American audience, encouraging people to tour the beautiful Australia in this coming year!
