Oxfam America's ebay auction ended on wednesday with a UK based winning bidder paying $40,100 bucks for an evening with Scarlett Johansson. yeah, ok, you can hardly call it an "evening with Scarlatte Johansson", becasue according to the ebay auction page, the winning bidder will recieve:
* Two tickets to the world premiere of He's Just Not That Into You. The premiere location has not yet been determined but will be in either Los Angeles or New York this July.
* Chauffeured car service to the premiere
* Hair and makeup for one by Privé
* A meet and greet with Scarlett Johansson at the premiere
You know what, I'm not a greedy person, but if truth be told, I'd be pissed off if I paid 40K and then told that I'll be getting nothing more than a "meet and greet"with Johasson at the premiere. wth??? I wonder who came up with the crappy idea of a chauffeur service and a hair and makeup by prive? Comeon, are you telling us the guy who pays $40K cannot afford that for himself? The main purpose, which was to spend the evening with Johansson, was never served.
So let me round this up; the winner dude will waste a few hours sitting in some crappy movie, and then get to stand next to Scarlett for a few minutes afterwards as she mingles with her Hollywood pals. That Sucks!!!!! I'm not expecting you go to bed with me Scarlett, but you should at least have the decency to go out for the night with me. Night as in date, oh, well....
And for the records, client 9 wasn't in on the bidding in fact, he maybe some where in N.Y high-fiving himself for getting a bargain!
